player with a good technique , he is the creative element of the Ser.Pi.Co
group; in fact he has composed the music and the lyrics of all songs
in the repertoire.
In his compositions you can find situations with wide atmospheres
where is the reign of his Godin classic, or rock/funk pieces where
he comps the lead vocal groovely. Moreover he shows an innate ability
to write lyrics never trivial and "heart touching".
He started to play guitar when he was very young and he created with
some friends a rock group called Giormanpol, where Giorgio
began to take confidence with the live music and the compositions
of own songs.
Later, he felt the need to deepen his knowledge in music theory, so
he took theory and guitar lessons from the guitarist Andrea
Benzoni for some year. In this period he got to know another
guitar student of the same teacher; this guy will be his future musical
partner: Stefano Serra.
Together with Stefano he has created the Fuori Tempo group,
where he has played for about 6 years, and he has played for about
a year in the Chiara Toni trio too. |
