Stefano
and Giorgio got to know each other in 1991 while they were taking
guitar lessons from the italian musician Andrea
Benzoni.
The first significant collaboration between Stefano and Giorgio is
the creation of the Fuori Tempo group, that played in several
places in the Emilia-Romagna region (Italy) for about 6 years (Naima
club, Mama's club, Barge, Madigans, Cap Creus, Bar dei Marinai and
others).
In 1997 the Fuori Tempo have recorded their most representative pieces
in a CD (click
here for info) at ZBest studio of Giuseppe Zanca in Meldola (Italy).
For abuot a year Stefano and Giorgio have played even in the "Chiara
Toni trio", that featured Chiara Toni on voice and
Paolo Casadei on the bass.
In 2001, at Stefano's home studio, was realized the first work by
Ser.Pi.Co (click
here for info), a set of pieces with a soundtrack potential and
with wide spaces and breaths, even if there are some exceptions that
we can define almost visionary.
In 2003 the independent label Interbeat
(Rome, Italy) published the compilation Askoltare
Vol.2 with 3 italian pop songs by Ser.Pi.Co group inside.
In the same period the Independent Music magazine published a compilaton
with the song T'avessi incontrato
inside.
Out of studio, you can find around North Italy the two musicians as
acoustic
duo version playing pop/rock, funky and bossanova rearranged covers.
This situation has been successfully offered on the streets of Umbria
Jazz from 2002 to 2005. |
